Help my aloe vera only has one stubby root dose anyone know how to grow more

Olives are fine here in the UK. Other tender plants can be successful in sheltered courtyards or spaces. Planted where materials such as brick walls retain heat & create micro-climates. Bamboo does `Too` well here and should always be considered carefully, it can be very invasive even the so called `clump` forming ones. I would advise always to retain bamboo in containers or with professional bamboo root barrier. Lemons/Limes can do well in warm sunny & protected positions, in city micro-climates & orangeries / glass rooms.

I still think laurel is a better option than most as it will give instant height and is cost effective to buy. Alternatives like buxus are generally only cost effective in small specimens that could take ten years to grow enough to obscure the red and white pillars. Lastly I disagree with the earlier statement about how laurel won't be possible to maintain at a low height- firstly we don't know what height this homeowner will want but in my neighbourhood there are examples of varying heights demonstrating different heights are possible.

The planning system in England is not primarily aimed to produce good, imaginative design, but to mitigate against harmful or functionally inadequate development. Not sure but I know with some plants you can get them to sprout new roots by sitting then in a glass of water. Might work with the Aloe? Looks fairly young. Try looking up on google.

Thank you I got him 2 years ago and he sproted a little baby last year but now they both have 1 root and i have repotted them into succulent soil so hopefully that will
