Hi all, I am considering converting a large and lovely antique farmhouse table that I can get my hands on for 150 euros (with its benches!) to an outdoor table. I have seen a few blog posts where people have stepped through the process - but I wanted to hear from anyone who is experienced has done this themselves and how the finishes hold up over time. I don't want to destroy the piece, even though it's so cheap, as it is a beautiful, rustic object, so would love to make sure I'm doing the right thing. Any advice or a run down of your experiences would be gratefully received :) :) :)
