layout/design idea for kitchen/diner

Looking to remove the load bearing wall between the kitchen/dining room. Is it feasible to remove current back door/window for patio doors/bifold currently it’s our main entrance point. Each room is roughly 3m2 or a tad bigger would it be possible to fit and island in. And would you block off the current internal door to the kitchen or dining room? Any ideas/advise greatly appreciated.
