How to make it work

Hi all

We have a plan and we're starting the build in August. Whilst we're happy with the kitchen and dining room, it's the living area we're stumped on! how to make it functional without obstructing any kind of flow! There will be a fireplace with the TV to the left as you look at it (not above).
What chairs, where? Coffee table or not?
we can move (shrink) the kitchen island if needed, but would as a last resort.
Hoping someone can see something we can't!
