living room colour help- north facing

After having some really helpful advice on kitchen colours here I'm hoping for some help and inspiration for our living room.

It's a north facing room, approx somewhere between 4 and 5 metres square, with a large window.

I've fallen in love with farrow and ball oval.room blue for one wall but need help choosing a colour for the remaining walls.
I have so many sample pots but nothing is quite right, I think it needs to be light but warm.

The floor will be poly floor lvt in american oak
Sofas will be changed at some.point when kids and cats stop scratching and spilling things!
I have a dark wooden chest I want to keep but other than that it's a all up.for a change

Wimborne White is light and warm without being too obviously yellow. Skimming Stone is worth looking at too as it seems to go with lots of colours - I have used it with Inchyra Blue and it works well.

I agree - some good warm lighting and soft furnishings to the room (perhaps some Metallics and mirrors to bounce light around as well) would look fab. Our old lounge was small, dark & North facing and I went all in dark & moody with it in blacks & greys. Only difference is I added more mirrors and a splash of colour with the cushions.

You shouldn’t need to repost - you can edit it (on a pc webpage) and I’d add it to design dilemma as that’s where I think a lot of people follow We used dusk in the valley by valspar for this room, as with the glow from the lamp/copper on the inside of the light it gives a warm glow from the light as well... depends whether you use it more during the day or in the evening. It’s an east facing room but because of the dormer and being a small window it’s not the brightest
