Love the colour of your kitchen units, what is it called please?

I am having a new kitchen and in process of choosing the colours and granite , I live in a Cheshire , would help if you can send me the name of the colour please ?

I have ticked 'grey' although I have kitchen units in three different colours in my fairly new kitchen-diner - lamp-room grey with an oak worktop housing a double Belfast sink, graphite grey with a pale granite worktop on the peninsular unit and alabaster (rich creamy colour) with the same oak worktop opposite the peninsular unit and for the doors of the walk-in larder and utility cupboard (no space for a utility room!) and the oven housing. The oak worktops have been treated with four coats of Osmo Polyx-oil, which I think is a fantastic product and has protected the worktops perfectly. The flooring is mock limestone laminate and I'm delighted with how the whole room looks.

The room looks very modern and spacious and having 2 colours in a kitchen is very popular. With regards to wall units (see image below where shelves have been used) & fridge/freezers, it really is down to personal preference but American fridge/freezers are very bulky, but they do give a lot of fridge space, although the freezers do tend to be a little small. Shelving can look nice and it could keep costs down. In my opinion it is the saturation level of the paint that is the problem. The beauty of your kitchen is the natural flooring and the wooden worktops, it looks earthy. This is swamped by the blue paint, it just looks wrong. Without seeing the cupboard door colours close up it is tricky but I would suggest looking for something a bit darker than the cupboards but with the same hue. If you want a strong contrasting wall a deep olive green would work as it would balance the wood and the purpley greys.

I’m also not keen on copper - the trend has already aged. I’d go for something timeless like an aged brass - i”d also take inspiration from quality kitchen companies like Devol just to see what looks good! There’s loads of good places online to buy ironmongery - one has been mentioned above, but also check out Willow and Stone and also Jim Lawrence (both easy to google!).
