Sorry for bumping into an old conversation. That's awesome that you set up an Instagram account for your house projects. Instagram is an excellent platform for sharing inspiration and connecting with like-minded individuals. I'll check out your page and follow along with your updates. However, I also suggest creating an account on TikTok as its popularity grows. Moreover, you can buy shares in TikTok easily. Good luck!

Bumping up for you. Not heard of them personally but I’m gettingLVT from Cavalio (which is Polyfloor) commercial grade glue down (they also do a click version) with 0.55 wear . Fitter said it’s really good quality, easy to fit and to me, is a much better/more realistic finish than the Karndean I saw. It cost me just over £20 sqm and is commercial grade. They will send you a sample book for colours and the commercial one is the Projectline which isn’t in the shops. I’m v impressed with it, I must say. Hope you get an answer!

Supposed it depends on styles and budgets but I like #Littleterracedhouse #banishthebeige and #jade.doutch They're three of my favourites. I also like USA pages of Angelarosehome because I'm amazed at her DIY skills (with the help of her Dad)

Anyone used RAL7006 (beige grey) on windows and doors?

I've chosen RAL 7039 for my windows which is a similar colour to RAL 7006 but darker. I am pleased that RAL 7039 is not a colour which is seen very often. I chose it because I too want a warm neutral and an alternative to anthracite grey which is too blue/purple for my taste. RAL 7039 seems to work well with the house's brickwork, mortar colour, concrete roof tiles and the proposed timber cladding on our new extension. Before I made a decision I tested several colours by purchasing Dulux Trade Ral Colour paint samples (250ml pots) which I painted onto lining paper and stuck up on the outside of the house. I loved RAL 7039 as soon as I painted it onto the lining paper, unlike the other sample colours which were ok but nothing special, so I was really pleased that the colour works with the house. I also think Ral 7039 will blend in with the neighbouring houses which have dark windows - mainly 80s mahogany/rosewood windows - but will look more contemporary. Fingers crossed it doesn't let me down. If you like RAL 7006 go for it.
