Love the lights in this room. Does anyone know where they are from?

I really love the interiors of this cottage. Please can you tell me where the wall lights in the living room are from?

Glad you like the design of the cottage. It was a fabulous project to work on. The wall lights were already in the cottage when my client purchased it so unfortunately, I can't tell you where they came from. Have a look at Pooky lighting (www.pooky.com) who have some beautiful wall lights that would work very well in this kind of room.

Tracey, those are encaustics which tend to be 18-20mm in depth, your wood will most likely be engineered ply if you have underfloor heating and depths vary 12mm upward. If one or the other substrate needs to be built up to accommodate the other that is possible. Be aware there will be some movement between the two, more so if you are using long boards, less with parquet, so consider how best to deal with any movement or expansion between the two. There are plenty of products available for this. Make sure your encaustics are sealed correctly. You could also find the cleaning regimen of the two finishes may be very different. Lithoflin for encaustics - and oil/wax for an oiled floor, that's not a great combination, so perhaps an easy maintenance wood might be better in the long run.

I'd seen it before as well, racking my brains to think where it was from. Well tracked it down, its from B&Q but it only comes in copper: http://www.diy.com/departments/jonas-wire-copper-pendant-ceiling-light/974256_BQ.prd You could spray it black if wanted. Also check out The French bedroom company as they have a few black wire pendants.
