How to improve tiled windowsill

Hi, I have a painted tiled windowsill in my bathroom that is a bit of an eyesore. The tiles have been laid unevenly and been painted poorly. Does anyone have any ideas to improve the look? I would have just repainted but the tiles are laid badly and one of them near sink (bottom right) has broken off. Not sure if re-tiling is an option as the tiles are partly trapped in under our new window frames and our new sink and can’t be removed.
