Purchasing a tv cabinet

I am looking at your VidalXL in white. New to your company. Do not understand how to purchase or even how to find our prices.

Hi MC, this is just an advice chat forum. To buy products from the Houzz shop you click on Products above then search for your item. Then it should appear with price, reviews etc. Are you seeing the product but no price?

My suggestion, on the other site you posted this on, was to turn the island around 180 degrees so the seating is in front of the glazed doors and mount the TV on the flat side of the island... This would give you TV viewing from a corner sofa very well - either facing the TV or the fire - but the down side is you wouldn't be able to watch TV when you are on the breakfast bar . It would also give you a great 'shopping bag ' placement area for when you fill your fridge and larder cabinet. And fill and unload the dishwasher etc too. Unless you mount the TV in the region where the designer drew it - ie above the fire - ( hope it won't get hot ?!) I don't think it will work flat on the wall. So even if you use tall wall units (900mm usually ) on a 150mm plinth height - either on a height reduced midi carcase or on a wall carcase - you will probably need to put the TV on an angled bracket to watch it from the sofa.

leave the TV wall mounted but bring it down a little and then you won't be ending up with neck ache and maybe put a shiny white cabinet to display some nice pieces. that's what I've done and it looks great.

What are the maximum dimensions of the footstool? Also what's the height of the sofa to the seat cushion? Personally I'd go for a Chesterfield on legs to keep the feeling of space in a plain fabric with a tray on top as AJ suggested

You haven’t said what type of wood your coffee and lamp tables are, but it can be difficult to match woods. if the existing cabinet works well from a practical viewpoint you could always consider having it professionally spray painted with a durable 3 part lacquer. If your walls are neutral you could have the cabinet done in the same colour. It is perfectly acceptable to mix wood and painted wood. i had the cabinet in this photograph made for a client in MDF before it was spray painted. Obviously a different style to yours, but it will give you an idea of the concept.
