Dining room rug help

I've recently redecorated our dining room, it is quite long so one half has a dining table which we've put an outdoor rug under, the other half has the armchair which you can see in the pic and we're going to get another plain armchair and a console table and mirror for the room. What rug would you suggest for the seating area? I'm stuck as I don't know what to call the style of the room?
Edit to add: the grey armchair has now gone and the rug in the seating area is in our living room
