Is there such a thing as too big for a kitchen island?

It’s the perfect size and will look amazing
It’s too big and will look silly
We’re going to have a good sized kitchen/diner once our extension is complete and I want the centrepiece to be a big kitchen island that is 3.2m x 1.5m. It will have the hob as well as a corner overhang for seating and a single slab of quartz for the worktop.
The room is roughly 7.5m x 5.7m and you can see the position of the island in the image below.
Do you think it will give the wow factor I’m looking for or will it be too big and make the room look a bit silly?
