How to knock through, and where does the fridge go?

We currently have a slightly open plan kitchen diner with a space between the two, but in the kitchen part there’s only a small under counter fridge, and so I also have a tall fridge which is currently just into the dining space (as there’s no room in the kitchen) which I’m not keen on. Where the pink wall on the plan is used to be the outside wall of the house, but the previous owners extended it, and built the utility room and another spare room on the side of the house. We’re thinking of knocking through into that room which we currently use as a general storage room, but can’t decide how (full wall removal, double sliding pocket doors, or a single pocket door), and turning that into an extension of the kitchen/diner or a separate family room. We also thought we might block up the door from the utility room into the spare room to give us more wall space for storage or furniture.

Short of redesigning the whole kitchen (which we‘ll do a way into the future maybe), does anyone have any good ideas about where the fridge could go, and any suggestions about how to create the opening, and any possible reconfiguration of the layout?

The window and bifold doors in the dining room and the french doors in the spare room face the back garden, and there’s a patio along the width of the back of the house.

Thanks
