Not sure what colour cushions will suit my brown leather sofas
Comments (39)Hello christjne, I am just getting a few images for you.. Hold on.. Oka do some that are rather good.. Also their faux flower collection is really good. This one is from them and also their velvet in Porridge and Pale Sage could be nice along with Mole colour and Caviar is one they have too that would work possibly... .. There is also the option of throws and they have one in Mole and you could also think of stones and other shades of earthy tones... Group with 1 plain mole colour to give accent but I'd say 1 of each together on 1 or 2 sides and a throw or two for the sofa.. You may find some others you like too.. They also have Mirrors and the Cesario large could be very nice, it has a nice bevelled frame with dark wood and accent of gold that would be gr8 with the dark sofa.. All depends on budget as I have many more suggestions including antiques but for something under the one roof as it were... : ))...See Morenew sofas - need help with colour scheme
Comments (29)keep the frieze white, I know that it might be tempting to paint it to go, but as it is likely an original feature, and was originaly white, plaster friezes should just stay white. not briliant white dulux, like an art gallery but a lovely natural white, like shirting from the little greene paint co. UNless you are painting them with golds etc in some palace I fell they always look much better white. and try not to get too much contrast in your paints, look for a pinky greys , lilac shadow from sanderson paints, mirage from the little green paint company , and fig greyt from zoffany are all examples of greys that hit a pinky tone, but GET SAMPLES they are invaluable for the seeing the nuances of shade and sublteties that only the light in your room will pick up. i can send you paint charts if ytou need them karly...See MoreWhat would you put with a choc brown leather sofa?
Comments (1)I don't see why you couldn't put a different coloured leather with the original one. It'd be much more difficult to match the existing finish. Even if you got another one from the same company the old one would have worn so they'd look different. I'd go for the creamy leather option, or a natural looking colour of fabric but lighter fabrics are more difficult to keep clean of course....See Moreliving room with brown leather sofa
Comments (4)Do you need both of the sofas on the long wall? I would swap what looks to be the larger of the 2 with the one in front of the window and perhaps sell the other. I like the wood floor but if you're on a budget you could add a light rug instead which should help? Do you need the nets for privacy? what sort of styles do you like and do you have a budget in mind? Plants, lamps, cushions etc would lift it. A light brown/taupe with a pink undertone might work for the walls (I'd also paint the radiator)....See MoreSonia
