Bathroom Wall Tiles - what colour paint and floor tiles?
Comments (3)Hi there, We have an assortment of floor tiles that you could choose from! I'd recommend any colour that's darker than the wall tiles, as it should mean you won't find yourself constantly worrying about cleaning up after yourself....See MoreCould a professional partially retire a bathroom, or am I just dreamin
Comments (4)Hi there, Yes, it is possible to do what you ask, and indeed we've done this in the past. But we always "caveat" this sort of work, as there is always risk to the surrounding tiles and you never quite know how well adhered the tiles are or the state of the wall underneath. Do you still have some "spare" tiles, or can you still get hold of the same ones (or close enough that people wouldn't notice?) If the answer is yes, then the risk is a bit lower. Comments (4)Unfortunately it's almost impossible to identify tiles from a picture. There are thousands of different tile designs so you are in for a very difficult task. Tiles in the picture are ceramic tiles and are inexpensive. I can tell because of the size, most likely 30x30cm, because the edges are sharp, unfinished without bevel and because the colour is plain. The designer alternative is to use mosaics, that can provide a very stylish finish, continuous pattern and with the choice of many different colours and formats. We procure products from a variety of manufacturers in Italy and for your particular requirement we suggest you looking at https://www.appianimosaic.com/mosaic-colors-tiles/single-firing-ceramic-tiles-anthologia Hope this helps but feel free to get in touch for any further enquiry. Comments (3)On top of the skirting? No way! I think that would look awful. Far too bulky in a sleek designed room. We have an ensuite which has the wall tiles sitting on top of the floor tiles to give the impression of more of a wet room effect. We also have a main bathroom and in here have the floor tiles cut to the size of the skirting that was originally in there height wise and then placed on top of the floor tiles So one room has nothing and the other room has the floor tiles up the wall as a skirting....See MoreS Addala
