deadline today for kitchen cabinet colour!!!

After seeing what i thought was my ideal kitchen cabinet colour... Dulux robin egg.. on a large wall in a shop i didn't like it. was too grey.
i like duckegg type colours but not too bright.
Got more yesterday pots yesterday and liked Dulux pale peacock in the currently write dark kitchen but when i put it on the wall (which is being knocked down) facing the light which will ultimately fall on the cabinets. it is very blue. ☹️
it still looks quite greenish in other light.
in a panic now. Kutchen is being ordered tonight and i still don't know what colour

Order a white kitchen and paint the walls - they are easier to change !

ok so I'm still al little confused but almost decided (mainly cos i can't take this strange indecision anymore!) So 3 tall integrated of/larger fridge & pull out larder units on back wall (in photo) and l shape base units only in Slipper Satin. Worktop in snowy ibiza as it has a taupe tinge to it so works well with Slipper Satin but lighten the room too and wimborne white (or possibly Valspar Fluffy Robe) for the walls and open shelves. I still want my champagne bronze tap and am hoping it will go but it's the only thing I'm not certain on now and the only thing i'm dead set on having! Off to look at Kahrs flooring samples today.

If you've got the time and the inclination (and budgets are tight) I reckon it's worth giving the paint a go to see how it looks. Lots of the kitchens we're doing for clients now are ones with painted finishes and although (as mentioned above) this isn't the most classic style/a bit old fashioned it will look completely different painted. New handles... save up for the kitchen you really want!

If its a dark room then reflective surfaces will help .. but maybe step back and look at the style before you introduce colour? The detail on the doors make it a bit dated for an ultra modern look, but a vivid color would change things up, where pastels and neutrals may feel a bit samey ! The granite top will cool anything down ... my suggestion is change the flooring and get the doors spray painted Red!

Filling definitely, and with either kitchen trim or painted MDF. To match either ceiling or wall colour. We’ve used MDF painted in wall colour I’m attached photos. It looks like you’ll perhaps have a fridge/freezer in the tall units in which case you’ll need to consider ventilation (which would otherwise be provided by it simply being left open). To avoid an unsightly grill you can ask your fitter/builder to route out the MDF to create an area equivalent to that specified within the manufacturers instructions.

Maybe don't order a blue or duck egg colour and go for a neutral. It will still be possible to introduce colours you love without stressing about getting the most expensive element wrong. Can you have any Dulux colour?
