Pink kitchen and what worktops with looking twee.

I am in the process of changing our kitchen, we have decided to go for a pale pink, so far the closest I can find is Wren pale Rose. I want either a handless door or at most a flat door with a discreet handle.
I don't want the kitchen looking twee or too pretty so I'm thinking either a concrete worktop or white? So far I have samples of Maia worktops in white which look lovely.
Any advice would be welcome, worktops need to be hard wearing as I have 3 kids, also should add I don't have a huge budget.

Have a look at Lisa Dawson's kitchen on instagram. Have you considered something like a Mink coloured kitchen that is essentially very similar in hue but less saturated? This would enable you to add pink in smaller amounts in case it was something you were unsure of.

I am choosing a black kitchen and found the discussion very useful. As this discussion is 3 years old I am assuming you have been using your black kitchen for a couple of years now. Please can you let me know how you are finding it? I have been told by many people that black shows stains and scratches easily, so can be very hard to maintain. I do a lot of cooking, and hate cleaning. Am I making the wrong choice going for black?

Love your kitchen, you’ve done a great job, not only does the kitchen look good, it’s totally practical, drawers are the way forward, even if they are more expensive than cupboards. I’ve just redone a kitchen in a house we rent out, the old one was finally falling apart. I was going to go to Howdens and use the joiner etc we knew, but in the end we used a small local company, which cost us £300 more, but the quality of their interior cabinets and doors was so outstanding, plus they could do everything, including tiling, we went with them. We didn’t change the floor, but did everything necessary, I’m hoping it lasts well and our tenants look after it!

This is the kitchen from Wren so pink is very light. Although I'm not 100% on the profile?
