Curtain choices
Comments (16)What a lovely room! Its certainly big enough to take a larger print, especially since your walls are neutral. I understand what clutteredval is saying, you are probably less likely to 'fall out' with your curtains if they are neutral, but from my experience of running a curtain & fabric shop, one of the main reasons people would come in wanting to change things was because they had gone for magnolia walls, neutral sofas, cream curtains & everything just seemed a bit blah! - how about choosing a large print with some colour, but perhaps sticking to a couple of colours such as something like this:http://www.georgiabointeriors.co.uk/curtains/gisella-red.html or this: http://www.georgiabointeriors.co.uk/curtains/clarke-clarke-folia-summer.html...See MoreThoughts please:Blinds for these windows and doors?
Comments (61)We get asked this question a lot, and that is why we sell integrated or integral blinds which are totally enclosed within the glass cavity of the double glazed unit, and are available for most of the doors and windows we sell. They can be manually or electrically operated, are available in a range of colours, and have Venetian or pleated versions. They can be closed for complete privacy, opened to any angle for different shading or raised up almost completely out of the way. Aside from enclosing all the working parts (safe for toddlers), they enhance the thermal efficiency of the unit they are enclosed within and will never need cleaning! You can upgrade existing doors and windows, although if you are purchasing new, ask your supplier about Uni-blinds Integral Blinds beforehand....See MoreBlinds for awkward windows
Comments (17)Regarding how easy it is to take the Blinds-2go blinds on/off (e.g. for cleaning, when your windows open inwards): I asked my partner who fitted ours, and he says that basically there are two small circle shaped pieces at either end of the roller. The roller then slots in to these (one on the left and one on the right), and then you twist and - et voila - it is held securely. He says that that because the roller is held fairly tight between the two end pieces it's not a job you would want to be doing regularly, but occasionally now and then for cleaning would be fine....See MoreTricky juliet balcony blinds
Comments (2)We stayed in a holiday let that had bifold doors and it had little blinds that were fitted within the window panes rather like the picture below....See Moresarh123
