Personally I think an LVT is a more practical product but if I were qa supplier I would probably want to promote porcelain tiles because it is less likely to limit wood options with the kitchen and the potential profit from a porcelain tile is potentially higher than a LVT.

Most people have different flooring in the kitchen/diner when compared to other parts of the house (even in posh house magazines), I‘d use something completely different ie a tiled floor maybe in a natural stone so it compliments the wood or you coukd use a Karnden but laid in a herringbone pattern. Personally i think its better to be completely different rather than trying to tie it in and not getting it completely right. In my old house we had oak floor throughout then a granite in the kitchen/diner i never even noticed it. Good luck

What floor tiles go well with marble multi panels for bathroom??

I think a simple grey floor tile, assuming your marble panels are grey and white, would be a nice solution. Another option is to go for black and white floor tiles giving a nod to the Victorian age of your home. Some people carry the marble look through into the flooring too.

What flooring for utility room?

I converted a very large ‘downstairs loo’ to a utility room (I say ‘downstairs’ in inverted commas as it’s a bungalow with a family bathroom and en suite - 3 toilets is too much for 2 people!) As it was a full renovation, I chose a reasonable enough end of roll piece of vinyl that I could lay straight on top of the screed. I held it down with strong carpet tape and put the skirting board on afterwards. It isn’t a through route like some utility rooms are so I’m not too worried about it. It serves it’s purpose and frees up money that can be better used elsewhere
