I'm thinking light grey on the walls as its open to my hall which is light grey with chrome spindles and black framed pictures, I have seen a black backsplash with a martini glass printed on it what do you think?...See MoreBrightening up a kitchen with pine units and black worktops
Comments (14)Hi. Have you ever considered a real interesting eye catching piece of art work to really brighten up an area, I think a select piece of art would really make the space stand out, add interest, colour, texture and add a great talking point to the room.... Please check out my website if you like the idea and please get in contact, commission work is also welcomed so if you like a particular style I can do in a select colour palette and size as an original piece…..I’m also able to produce all original paintings in high end print format, in any size same or smaller than the original. (all within proportions to the original so not to cause distortion) All prints shown are Giclee prints onto soft textured fine art media. All prints come with a white border these can be made to measure too. So lots of options, www.guigsart.co.uk...See MoreUse Internal glass screen to brighten up room
Comments (21)Hi Sunny. If you need the dining table there I would definitely go for a banquet style seating area that can be pulled out when required but give enough space on a daily basis for passing sensibly. It seems like this space would really benefit from a 3D render package allowing you to visualise the space and how it will look when finished. You would then be able to try a few different options on the door front as well as the seating area. They don't only allow you to visualise the space saving you from making costly mistakes but you can then also use them when sourcing and with contractors to get your ideas and requirements across more clearly. I added a few images from some our recent 3D's to give you an idea of what you get (usually 5/7 images of each space). I look forward to hearing more on your new space. All the best, Gina...See MoreBudget kitchen renovation
Comments (19)We're in the same boat as you. Just bought and going to extend and have a new kitchen hopefully within the next few years but our kitchen is horrendous compared to yours! Plus we've had to rip out units just to fit our appliances in. I was going to paint the cupboards but after watching a few you tube videos I've decided it's something which I think I could do without it looking a bit rubbish! We did lay some lino as I couldn't bear walking on the old stuff but we didn't spend much. I'm just going to paint the walls and see how it looks then. Our tiles our a brown colour and have flowers on them but like you I don't know whether painting them will look any good but then they couldn't look any worse. We're concentrating on the rest the rest of the house and hopefully the next couple of years will fly by!...See Moreberrecka
