Help!! curtain and blind colours
Comments (12)Hi, I absolutely love your kitchen. I think maybe a pop of colour in the blinds is good. I love the colour combination of yellow and grey and think this could really suit your kitchen and then you can add decorative objects which emphasise the yellow such as fruit bowls, tea-towels, fresh flowers and flower pots. Below are a few ideas. If you wanted to be able to switch up colour palettes more often, as blinds can be expensive, maybe go with the pussy willow print. Then you can have a new accent colour every month if you wanted to. My kitchen has a busy and dull tile work at the moment so I have used accents of green (very busy so I only had to accent with a few objects). I have only added like a draining board, a plant pot and tea towels and it really brightens the room. Hope this helps!...See MorePeriod property bay windows-curtains dilemma-blinds? patterned? plain?
Comments (1)I think going for a plain look would really enhance the classic style. I hope the images below help. Patterns will make the area too busy....See Morecurtains or blinds????
Comments (12)Hello Hayley, What a lovely alcove! I second on the curtains. Dusty pink or coral would look lovely with that green. Velvet would be so lush. You could also consider using a faux suede. Kirkby Design has just launched an easy clean range with beautiful colours. It could add a more modern touch. https://www.kirkbydesign.com/collections/tone...See Morekitchen paint colour & Colour of curtains and blinds
Comments (4)I personally would not choose black curtains. I prefer curtains that are a similar colour as the walls, so if you paint the walls grey, then have simple linen-cotton curtains In grey. I cannot see the sink window, so can you share a pic of that wall? I’m thinking, without seeing the window, white painted wooden Venetian blinds. My eye is drawn to your lovely antique style wall clock, so how about a similar shade on your walls, a shade of parchment? If that’s too country style, then maybe off white walls?...See MoreJuliet Docherty
