Need help updating my downstairs loo/cloakroom
Comments (11)Paint the doors, change to bifold doors, etc. Coat rack IN closet not next to toilet. Paint a lovely color on toilet wall and white toilet lid. Cheap wine rack with rolled towels where coat rack is now. Artwork or shelf with pretty things above toilet. Mirror above wood mantel above sink. Could use railroad nails or something into the wood that looks industrial to hold hand towel or shelf?...See MoreHow to design our cloakroom?
Comments (1)Hello, This Cloak Room can be transformed to a great space with the help of imagination and a bit of creativity. I collected for you some images for storage ideas but not the rest. Before buying anything think of your favourite style and how would you like to see it? Would you go for a traditional look or rather modern/contemporary, minimalist or something busy? Remember that you can always mix styles together as with a good taste you just make your Cloak Room look outstanding and stunning, even under a low budget! You could paint the walls, or even add wallpaper on one wall so as on all of them. Have a thought and from there is much easier to go further. You can always make storage space under the sink or get wall cabinets. In your case I think best would be to place the toilet where the window is and put the sink on the right side of the wall for an easier access. Good luck with your Project! Comments (9)If you keep the Hallway door where it is, it makes things more difficult. The toilet is best placed between lounge and Utility, so if you keep the doorway there, you would enter a long narrow space, making the basin difficult to place. Also, are you taking out the Chimney Stack?. I'd go for integrated appliances rather than stacking as you have plenty of room, and something a little like this possibly. Of course it also depends on whether or not you want access from the kitchen because of washing etc, or the Hallway because that's easier for the coats and shoes. Comments (5)Its all very smooth and shiny so maybe a good opportunity to bring in some texture or pattern with tiles. Probably cheaper and there are so many beautiful ones to choose from. https://www.firedearth.com/fountains...See MoreSan Riz
