Do you know by chance if there are any shops selling furnitures with these specification? Furnitures for small city apartment.

IKEA sell 35cm depth wardrobes and you can choose your doors

Second IKEA do a 35cm deep PAX in various colours. The rail has to face forward rather than horizontally. You can also buy 35cm deep drawers & shelves.

Hi. I prefer the first option plumbing permitting. Hard to tell from looking at the pics but can the bed go opposite the chimney breast with the ensuite door in the bottom corner? It looks as if you could possibly have narrow bedside tables. Alternatively float the bed in the bay which I think looks particularly good with a 4 poster. If in budget I might also reinstate the fire..

Bespoke joinery is always better to achieve maximum of storage from space you got. However with PAX there is option to match up for saving cost, however you are limited to size, if you got 190cm you need to fit 150cm and have covering panels. We did in few houses to get lower cost build in units, that we put it in PAX wardrobes and we made bespoke side panels and framing, skirting so when you close them it looks like bespoke, where inside is still IKEA.

We have worked in a few bedrooms just like this. The layout you have looks fine. Fitted wardrobes are great in small spaces like this and then you can reduce the length and rehang the room door to swing the other way (also have them built deep enough for hangers). Wardrobe doors that are sliding and mirrored also work well. Leave your existing wardrobes for the new people if they fit exactly and think about having new ones made for this room.

If you have open walk in robes spaced at 550 open robe - 800walk space 550depth backing onto another 550 - 800 550 550 800 etc - so your robes go from to the length from eves to window - this could afford you a mix of single hanging and 3/4 hanging and possibly double hanging at highest height and shelves or drawers etc too . Finish each section with a std door to keep it tidy. Reduce the depth down nearer bedroom entrance and keep a dressing table area under the roof light ... that’s probably what I’d suggest . Although the previous suggestions are also fab ! Hope that helps a bit ! (Adding a rough sketch to clarify ).

Pax is awesome. 35mm deep wardrobes sandwiched between 60cm deep ones work really well across a chimney breast wall
