How to upgrade kitchen with new tiles and paint colours

Any ideas to upgrade this bland kitchen with a new floor, lighting and wall paint? It’s very uninspiring currently

but wondering if I can get away without having to replace the entire thing?

I personally am not a fan of cream and white together but that's just personal opinion but you could look into painting those? and seeing the cost of that
if not a nice dark green feature wall could look nice?
or some marbled flooring?

Your kitchen doesn’t look very big so I would tend to steer away from dark colours. Cream doors blend in with most other colours. They’re neutral.

Update - alabaster painted oak units, oak worktop, (curved end units and worktop corners) belfast sink, 1100 stainless steel rangemaster porcelain large high gloss ivory 600x600 floor tiles, ivory grout - please see attached look book just still to decide on shade of sage on walls - deciding between F&B Mizzle, Vert De Terre, Ball Green and Cooking Apple Green... Also metro sub/way tiles on walls - whether to go for a sage tile or cream/white... The dining room area off the kitchen will have oak parquet floor which will follow through from hall and will also be in the lounge but Im thinking of following the wall colour in the kitchen through to the dining room for continuity and potentially painting the chimney brest or wall furthest away from and facing the kitchen a darker green complementary colour... Thoughts please

As a contrast but to prove the colours work together. We have grey units and cream walls, so yes go for it. I think if you have a darker floor and lighter walls, you'll keep the airy theme. I wouldn't bother with named colour paints from the likes of F&B etc, instead as you want to get the shade right, pick your tile, take the tile and a drawer front to any shop that will mix paint and that offers hundreds of shades and get the pale grey right. It needs to be a warm grey to work with cashmere. I think the phrase now is Greige ( Grey / Beige ).

Hi. As it's a little tricky space with 3 doors it may be worth employing a planner. Is there potential to move any doors or block the porch window etc (if the room is light enough). I'm not sure you have enough room to open the oven door safely with a cabinet behind it? I would consider narrow depth base units on the "half" wall opposite the oven for extra storage (and move the rad porch side). The kitchen will also feel much more streamlined if all the appliances are integrated. It may work (?!) if starting from left you go double height larder, ff, wm/TD, sink, DW, hob, space, oven. If you like the yellow then go with it! I would however go for a white worktop with pale grey walls and maybe karndean for the floor with grey and blonde tones. Another option is dark grey units (both yellow and dark grey units may close it in a little) with yellow hexagon tiles on the wall as per the pic in your ideabook (which I also like!).

Not a bad little kitchen. There are lots of lovely tiles you can replace the metro tiles with. I think vinyl sheeting in a wood effect pattern would be nice, assuming the floor is suitable. It needs a very flat surface for vinyl. Here’s some ideas, but there are loads more.
