Heey, I am fascinated with renovating houses and i have made a youtube channel, on this channel I show all renovated houses to see the potential of houses and how much profit you can make with them and of course beautiful pictures of the houses! Hi Rachel. It's a really pretty room. I would Keep it simple with a cottage look. Depending on your choice of patterns and colours it can either be traditonal or contemporary. If you have the bed on the opposite side, you may want to think about moving the radiator as It looks to be the only one in the room so you'd be blocking the heat although I appreciate cost implications. Ŵalls I'd just go for warm neutrals/whites and use the same in the skirting. If you look at little greene paints, they come in different shades of the same colour for most so you could go a shade or 2 darker in the alcoves. I'd have a large mirror opposite the fire to bounce light and increase feeling of space. The ceilings look low (?) so same as for your living room you could consider a floor leaning mirror. You could also consider painting the wardrobe to blend in with the ŵalls and perhaps try it facing the other way. I'm not sure what the natural light is like but coloured shutters with wide slats would look lovely. If not patterned Roman blinds on a light background hung outside the recess. I'd add a little chair in the rhs corner of the window. I don't know what other furniture you intend on putting in the room but I'd add some lamps and if in budget some ŵall lights. A rug with lots of texture for the bed and then a pile of cushions and throws for the bed and chair with a mix of colour, pattern and texture. Perhaps a set of 3 prints over the bed

I love a challenge, I would extend the garage to the full width of the property. Re-position the front door to the center with a window and a contemporary wide door as shown. Next I would remove all the hanging tiles and render as picture. For a full contemporary look change the windows to a dark grey profile. This will create internally a larger entrance, giving the owner more internal space, keep it open plan! I cannot see any images of the existing interior to advise a room layout. The back of the property looks rendered....I love the balcony, which I am hoping is off a living room??? Again if within budget replace the existing windows with dark grey profile, put dark grey bi folds where the sliding doors are at present, extend the patio by 1.5 meters, to allow for external seating area......keep it minimal. Spray the existing railings dark grey. A couple of strategically placed large pots with topiary trees.........Your Done!

Hello! The paint has been great - it looks the same as the day it was painted, no flakes or any other issues. The doors have been regularly sprayed with flash with bleach kitchen cleaner, and it's not made any difference to the paint finish etc. I would recommend the paint, the only issue is it is a bit ,limited on colors.

Hi David. What a lovely project - how fantastic to have a blank canvas! As well as asking for local recommendations for interior designers, Houzz is a good place to have a look around, or you could try BIID (British Institute of Interior Designers - biid.org.uk). I think the main thing at the beginning of a project like this is to find someone who you think you could work well with - especially as projects this size can take a long time, so it's important to feel the fit is right - and who offers the right sort of design packages for you. For example, some might offer full design, contractor management and implementation, whereas you feel that you just want some direction and help with the layout or lighting plans, or that you want to complete the work in stages.
