I don't mind the ventilation grill is not in the middle of the unit
I don't mind the ventilation grill is not in the middle of the unit, but prefer TV to remain in the middle of the room
I do not mind the design as is
I would reduce the width of the shelves to center the ventilation grill and the tv

Comments (91)Hi @lexoo2020 Please accept our sincere apologies for the delay in responding to you, we are just getting to grips with Houzz so it has taken us a little longer that we would have liked to get back to everyone. Have you thought about using paint to create some feature elements on your wall? This way you can introduce your favourite colours in the room while creating some beautiful décor. You can paint a hexagon pattern on one of your walls as shown in the video below; just replace the colours with the ones you like and that will complement your room’s colour scheme. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSLT9XYkdO4 Alternatively, how about making a collage of your favourite pictures in frames of various sizes and colours? This way you can include all your favourite moments and people in your room while still styling your space. The image below can give you an idea of how to mix and match to create the perfect look! If you would like some extra storage, why don’t you try some floating shelves? You can decorate them with your favourite accessories, and by adding a pop of colour on the edge, as the picture shows below, you create interest in your room in a subtle way....See MoreNeed advice how to place my sofa and tv set in the living room
Comments (4)I think I'd put the T.V in corner A. It's the one least likely to get glare from the Windows. If your Sofa is along the line B /C ( don't know where the door is ), Then you will not be to close to the T.V. If the Sofa is in the middle then at a rough guess you're going to be well over 10-12 Feet away from corner A................See MoreL-Shaped Living room - incorporating separate TV zone & living area?
Comments (8)Hi Sophie, so sorry to be a pain but we would need all the dimensions and where the window are on the wall, and the width of the windows and doors, like this:- metres and cm's are easier. I guessed:- So i made the entrance in to a reading area with bookcases and an armchair. Followed by a good desk to break up the long wall, leading to a seating area overlooking the garden. Tucked around the corner is the T.V area....See MoreTV and 5.1.4 living room, in front of window - or unused fireplace
Comments (2)This may sound like an odd proposal but how about dividing the space with the TV unit? Have the sofa and TV in the same orientation as option 2 - but moved down the plan so the sofa is in front of the radiator and move the desk area behind the TV. You may need a TV unit that will hide all the cables from the TV and protect it from being knocked over. Just a thought. Good luck....See Moremacbroom
