Cracking walls!

So tonight my wife and I heard some cracking sounds coming from the kitchen, and we have noticed some cracks round the kitchen ceiling (particularly one corner), a zig zag crack coming from corner of kitchen window and cracks at the corners of the double doors, and a further horizontal crack across the width of the living room. It's difficult to take pictures of them but I did the best I could. I can't see any cracks from outside, except under one window at opposite end of the house. All these cracks are where structural work has been done (replacing windows, adding french doors). How concerned should I be?

As a civil engineer, they just look like settlement cracks, and look very fine
Was building works passed by structural engineer, lintels sized correctly?
However if you are worried, you can easily purchase and fit a few crack monitors over areas which are causing grievances
But in my earnest opinion, I wouldn't worry in the slightest as settlement cracks are normal and can open and close due to temperature fluctuations also

I also thought they may be settlement cracks.

As it’s a house that is in full shade, then the following climbers will, I think, do well - Climbing Hydrangea, Virginia Creeper and Boston Ivy. They all grow by clinging to the wall so don’t need a support structure. The last two have green leaves that turn an amazing red in the autumn before they lose their leaves for the winter. The Hydrangea has glossy green leaves and lovely white flowers in the summer. It also drops its leaves in the autumn. Ivy is evergreen, but can be a bit of a thug, as you know! Honeysuckle copes with shade but will need trellis or support wires to climb up. Once the Boston Ivy and Virginia Creeper get going they grow fast and you will have to get up a ladder and trim the tendrils growing around windows, doors and guttering probably once a year, or pay someone else to do it! Rain on lawn behind has run down slope and collected behind steps wall in the channel created by the missing turf. As water height got to top slab level, water has moved through cement joint between bricks and top slab stopping cement from setting. Hence wet cement runs on lower bricks and loose top stones. Has step design included water escape pipes or gaps in its structure?

When did the structural work get done?

Did these just appear today?
If it was my house, recent work, cracks just happened inladt few days, together with the noise.... I'd be very worried and would have probably ran out the house. But I'm obviously no structural engineer!

It’s likely plaster drying out and minor settlement and a decorators issue.

You only really need to evacuate if you can see daylight through the crack and get your hand into it so it’s far from that.

Thanks for all the reassuring comments. The garden slopes toward the house, so I am paranoid about water damage to the foundations. I'll keep an eye on the cracks and speak to someone if I see any big changes.
