Accent wall bathroom - how best to make it work

Hi community! For our bathroom renovation, we were thinking of putting an accent wall above the D-shape corner bath. And then on the side we are doubting if we put only tiles (same colour of floor but smaller size to create texture) above the side of the bath, behind the shower and in between the double sink and mirror. The spaces in between will be without tiles, just painted. The colour scheme is here attached.
Do you think it will work? If so what paint colour shall we do?
Or shall we play safer and put tiles on the whole side wall?
A big thank you!
