Any tips and tricks for oak architraves?

Hi everyone,
I have finally made a decision on internal doors and love the oak finish. I have seen many examples of oak doors having white architraves but find it odd looking, so would prefer those in oak also. Apologies for the silly question (first time doing up the house), but is it easy to find the same colour architraves as the door? I understand there will be nails into them, so will need to be painted (am I right?) so this all sounds very confusing. I am going for a simple look but it sounds complicated. Attached photo shows it's possible, but builders I have spoken to make it sound difficult. Any stories from your experiences?
