Best Exterior paint for newly rendered house?
Comments (11)I've just been looking. Awesome. My last house was a victorian reno. We had an old scullery and it hadnt been touched since the 60s was amazing what we found. But your house is simply divine. We have similar taste so trusting you even more now on my exterior paint job. This house has been everything i dreamed of so far. Will send you all the interior shots when we have the fish in the wall! Yep we have a 6 foot fishtank in the wall!...See MoreExterior house paint colour
Comments (11)Most Fired Earth paint colours are available in masonry paint, it's expensive (compared to standard masonry paint) but goes on a dream, with great coverage. Gives you a great choice of colours, we went with Stone Ocre, although on a more modern house, it looks much nicer than white or magnolia (IMHO)....See MoreOur house's exterior colours??
Comments (8)Thank you! From Little Greene I'm currently trying the various shades of Slaked Lime and, French Grey, and Cool Arbour... I also liked Hardwick White, Off-White, etc etc (FnB)... :/ I just can't decide whether the painted stone, ie rough/wobbly texture looks ok darker, or not. Or whether to do frames a mid-greyish tone, with soft white walls...or. just paint the lot white! The frames on the stone wall sides make any shades look different again......See MoreWhat color to paint the exterior of my house
Comments (1)A very handsome house! - It's not so much the roof you have to worry about matching colours to, it's the red brick, as not soo many go with that. It's a big area to be painted, so you have to be sure it's going to look right. I'd probably err on the side of not painting it anything other than white and changing the window colour instead. Google colour bonding - it colours UPVC windows pretty much any colour and is a fraction of the cost of replacing windows. The front of our house is 'tyrolene'd' but the rest is red brick. We went for a sage colour. I'd be inclined to stick with the white, or render the whole house and paint one colour with possibly a slight shade change for the darker at the bottom. The downpipes need addressing on the gutter as they're a messy set up and spoil the facade. Try using the Dulux Paint a room:- https://www.dulux.ca/diy/colour/colour-visualizer it's a handy tool!...See Moremacbroom
