Dulux UK equivalent or similar for the wall colour?
Comments (51)I tried colour matching various f&b shades with Valspar professional , some of which B&Q even had a 'recipe' for, but none of them really came close. I ended up buying mainly with Valspar's own professional paint (primer & paint in one) & loved the durable, scrubbable, finished result. They have a fab colour range too & their colour cards are a good size & absolutely spot on to the painted colour. (If you cannot see a swatch of colour that you like, they have an additional enormous swatch book under the counter. Their tester pots are brilliant value for money & a good size too. I also bought Dulux & Crown on the 2 for £22 offer which is unbeatable if on a tight budget!...See MoreWin a colour room makeover by Dulux and a weekend away! - CLOSED
Comments (213)With much excitement the Dulux panel, after reviewing all the creative entries for the Colour Picker competition, have selected their winner! ‘Summer in Cornwall’ is a beautiful and calming collection of muted blues. The use of tonal colour is very on trend and also features Denim Drift- The Dulux colour of the year! The title of the collection, ‘Summer in Cornwall’, the styling of the selected room set and the combination of the restful blue colour palette, echoes the recurring theme of our 2017 Colour Futures trends, about yearning for real experiences, the importance of treasuring simple and genuine things in life and re-connects us with mother nature’s very own colour palette....See MoreF&B purbeck stone vs Dulux
Comments (12)More beige/taupe than grey to my eye. It is a beautiful colour and my sister has it in her hall but it isn’t really grey. My cousin has Chic Shadow in his home and it’s lovely, a proper grey. Polished Pebble is a paler version. Paint colour is greatly affected by light, and wall colours can change colour throughout the day. The world is not static and neither is colour. I think you need tester pots before committing!...See MoreDulux Grey Steel 4 or Dulux White Ash
Comments (2)The best way to check is to buy/order match pots and paint them onto A4 card. You can attach them to the different walls with blue tack. That way you can gauge how cool the colours are. Colours are affected by light so I think match pots are the way to go. I’ve got Egyptian Cotton in my bedroom and it has a slight pink hue, I’ve never seen green in it....See MoreSteph Pew
