Ceiling hight

This room is really cool, I want to see if I can fit this in my kids room, so could you please help me with the hight of the room?

Hi, thank you for your interest.

The ceiling height was 340cm. The height in the bed area was only 135cm, enough to sit up in bed and read, but not stand.

Mylands. You always regret your economies. I've repainted this kitchen 4X over the years, and last time was in Dulux which wore so poorly. Just custom mixed a new vibrant duck egg to paint my kitchen in marble matt walls, eggshell woodwork, and floor paint. Mylands matched impeccably. It was a dream of coverage, and looks spectacular. The quality of the pigment shows, looks the money, nothing like synthetic mediocre pigments in cheaper paint. It's a big improvement.

The smart compact kitchen is an ingenious use of limited space! We love the innovative design and the different levels and widths of the shelves make it both interesting to look at and functional. Hi. We also had some walls coming down. We had total 3 steel beams inserted. One - in line with joists,which easly could be 40 cm higher- and hidden, second - in opposite direction to joists which needed to be much lover , and third on external wall for French door. All 3 of them are connected and linked together - to be able to link them all 3 have to be on correct hight -under first floor joists. We have specified bolting not welding- purely for exposure. All 3 beams are visible ( yes, we have building control prrecision). If you box around them and whole celings are same coulor after a while you will stop noticing "beam drop". Our Whole kitchen walls and ceilings is white -black steel beams stand out even more. It may not be to everyone taste. But we love our steel.

Hi all! I would really appreaciate any help to choose the right lighting schema for my kitchen. It's a U shaped kitchen, 3 mts. wide x about 5 long. I made this: each colour is a different light and the switches for each circuit are shown in the picture too. The ceilings are quite hight (about 3.5 meters high) What do you think? Too much light? I'm in doubt about having two pendant lights (yellow and purple) or if I have to go with all recessed and leave only the purple one as pendant. Help!
