Comments (2)I think ultimately it comes down to cost. If you have the available cash to do it at one time - you may save on any planning permission costs (and the time to go through two sets) and saves you looking for contractors at different times. However, if you are worried about money, working in stages is a sensible thing to do. It also depends on what the shed/office building is. If this is a prefab type building where no planning is required (like Johnsons Garden Builds for example), then doing this first can make the renovation inside less stressful as you have somewhere to go or for extra storage etc. There are lots of variables here :)...See MoreGarden new design with a new garden office
Comments (5)Hi Stacy, yes thats where my comment came from. I will look back at that again to see about the planting. I wasn't keen on the horizontal pavement. What I really need is a designer to look at the whole space. I'm not sure how to best build up the raised area and I'm worried it's going to be put together quickly and I will miss a key moment to get this right!...See MoreWe built a home office in garden but undecided how to finish outside
Comments (2)Home office? You'll never get any work done with a view like that! Change the fence to something that would block the view less, nice area of paving with small ornamental trees to both sides with uplighters under them, soft planting to introduce some colour and a nice sofa to soak up the warm evenings as the sun sets. To the sides, a nice path between planting leading to the paved area....See Morehelp, we r having a garden office /bar built
Comments (1)Hello Joanne, I would love to have a chat about the style you like and how you envision this patio. The project looks very interesting. Please find attached some images with existing projects that may help you decide which line to follow. I think the bar design may affect the other elements from your propsal. There are 3 proposals. One is neutral (gray, black and brown), another more Mediterranean style with lots of white and bright colors and the third is about using intense colours and bringing the nature inside giving lots of character to the proposal. The three options are interesting and could perfectly fit depending on what is your vision. Hope this helps! Warm regrds, Anca...See MoreWumi
