Garden office interior
The garden office will be a treatment space (I'm a children's physio), but also a family chill space. There will be a bank of besta cupboards at the end wall, probably white gloss with an oak frame or oak, a navy blue sofa and a narrow desk
What colours would you suggest for the walls. I want a nice contemporary look.

If you have the available cash to do it at one time - you may save on any planning permission costs (and the time to go through two sets) and saves you looking for contractors at different times. However, if you are worried about money, working in stages is a sensible thing to do. It also depends on what the shed/office building is. What I really need is a designer to look at the whole space. Change the fence to something that would block the view less, nice area of paving with small ornamental trees to both sides with uplighters under them, soft planting to introduce some colour and a nice sofa to soak up the warm evenings as the sun sets. Please find attached some images with existing projects that may help you decide which line to follow. I think the bar design may affect the other elements from your propsal. There are 3 proposals. One is neutral (gray, black and brown), another more Mediterranean style with lots of white and bright colors and the third is about using intense colours and bringing the nature inside giving lots of character to the proposal. 3 years agoNice sofa, very inky blue. I would go for something like this.
Terracotta orange, soft pinks, natural cotton, natural fibres, rattan, sisal, woven textiles. Tan leather (cushion, pouffe or armchair). Greens from plants and maybe a few some brassy or bronze ornaments.
Washed out/white washed wood furnishings to suit your flooring. If you do go for richer wood tones, place on a rug, on contrasting feet (e.g black metal) or on the walls so it’s not sitting on and clashing with the floor.Wumi
3 years agoIf you’re into the rattan door front trend I’ve seen some great Besta hacks putting rattan in the glass front doors or shaker style doors.

3 years agoGreat idea about the wood furniture. I was also thinking of this cupboard at the back, it has a wood carcass but white gloss doors. To maybe bring a bit of warmth, but then add 2 lower units to the left so you can put plants on that bit. There are lots of toys for my therapy business that I want to hide!

3 years agoLike the besta unit. Maybe go for the white stained oak effect wood carcass and non-gloss doors? If you’re going for white doors, I’d mix in some ‘non-flat’ doors for a bit of visual interest. Maybe a mixture of glass and solid?
For the walls, I’d keep them white or a pale neutral colour and bring in colour from your furnishings and decor.Personally, I like to paint walls white and see how each wall is effected by sun/shadow throughout the day before I decide whether to add colour.
