pick up a color

hi guys,
need ur help plzz
so i have this wall in my entrance I wanna change its color, accent wall, it's between two doors of brown shades and it holds 3 mirrors of champagne color which i intend to keep. can u advice me with the right color plz

That’s a difficult one with the door colours. What about a pale green?

Hi Freckle Frog I really like what you've got going there. And I actually think the dining room light matches your art work -- the curved stems and the cup shape of the lights mimics a bunch of tulips. Colour wise, for your kitchen I think whites with your existing cabinets could be too tricky. The neutral, pale greys with a touch of green tones will pick up the colour of the dining room cabinet and blend beautifully with any type of cream kitchen cabinet. I would stay clear of blue grey -- unless there's lots of red brick and heavy timbers in the room, it is just too cold for too long up north of the 49th! I used Farrow and Ball's pale powder in my north facing office in Vancouver and it feels warm through the sleety winters and cool enough in the summer. *Bonus* Farrow and Ball paints are from Britain, and the colour palette reflects the colour schemes of Cotswold cottages and London townhouses. They have sample tins! Try skylight, light blue or pale powder. These may also satisfy your sense of nostalgia a bit.

Hi there So here is my two cents...please take it with a pinch of salt Not knowing the budget. Remove the dado rail it draws the eye to it and from what i can tell you have nice ceiling height. Introduce LED recessed spot lights in warm white not too many. Its hard to tell if you have a cornice if not I would put another set of cupboards on top of the ones you have with an up stand and run a plaster cornice around the room and the wardrobes this would give you more storage accentuate the height and make the wardrobes feel fitted. Take down the curtains and replace with shutters that black out. Change radiator to a flat panel and paint it in with the wall colour. Keep the chair in the corner but re upholster. New carpet. Over sized head board with a deep button could look great with a divan bed. See picture. Colour scheme I like Paper and paint look at lead 1 for the walls, and skirting and wood work, for the ceiling a broken white 1/2 white 1/2 lead 1. For the wardrobes lead 2 and reeded handles in nickel, classic looking change all window fitting to nickel and door handles. Keep fire place looks great. You need a mirror above the Fire place, some really nice bedside tables A great bedside table wide if you can, perhaps painted to match the wardrobes. As well I think a classic modern Glass Side Lights from Vaughan lighting or similar in budget with a dark shade. and finally run the TV cabling to the end of the bed before you put in the new carpet and make a custom ottoman with a TV that pops up at the end, that should finish it off. What colours are the couches? Can't tell if they are grey or jade..? I don't see olive in any of the rugs so not sure how they will tie the spaces together. But not sure if the colours are showing right on here. Possibly option 7 but its a bit plain.

Thanks for your advice. Yes I plan on getting a few samples of ceramic wood effect tile. Have also been looking at VLT. Not sure about the blue. While it does draw on the colour in the hallway I'm just not that into a pale blue. Would prefer a dark blue which might work also. There is a good amount of daylight in the kitchen. I think the colouring in the photo below is quite good for the kitchen units. We plan on having a tall dresser which could be in that dark green with the remaining units in grey. That vinyl herringbone or parquet seems to be a popular current style choice. Not sure if it will clash with the hallway though.
