Help with garden bar colours
Hello again.
My latest project is to decide on the colour scheme for our outside bar. It is South facing. The pics show the 3 walls that will be painted (The fourth wall is all doors and windows in the same style as window in pic) We only physically sit inside when its cold or dark, but go in and out of it it all through the Summer.
I was originally going to be brave and go dark on these 3 walls I was thinking F&B Downpipe/ Dulux Winter sky or Cannon Ball, then a soft white ceiling and skirting.
I then thought about colour blocking so just the bar area and window recesses were in the dark colour, then F&B All white or similar for the rest. Cant decide whether to paint the front of the bar a dark contrast colour too?
I'd appreciate any advice as colour choice is not my strong point ;)

Comments (3)I would certainly paint the summerhouse. Two tone probably. Door and windows one colour, 'walls' another. Painting the the fence could be nice but does mean you will have to maintain this every one or two years or it will start to look tatty. As it is now it will weather (quite nicely) and with some substantial planting in front of it will look fine either way. Will you create a border along it? Comments (1)Hello Joanne, I would love to have a chat about the style you like and how you envision this patio. The project looks very interesting. Please find attached some images with existing projects that may help you decide which line to follow. I think the bar design may affect the other elements from your propsal. There are 3 proposals. One is neutral (gray, black and brown), another more Mediterranean style with lots of white and bright colors and the third is about using intense colours and bringing the nature inside giving lots of character to the proposal. 3 years agoI think dark walls will create a cosy ambiance. The pubs round my way (when they were open) have done almost OTT decor but It is lovely. Here’s some ideas. The second pic is a Danish pub but still lots of cosy wood.
