Any ideas/suggestions on what colour I should paint my kitchen
Comments (11)We also have a north east facing kitchen, we used farrow and balls, Purbeck stone on our wall of units at the back of the kitchen (its warmer than using grey which can look cold in a north facing room), pelt on our peninsula and dimity on the walls, it give off pink hues during the day and is (nice) sort of creamy beige in the evening / on dull days. We took samples of our flooring and work top to a F&B shop/consultant and they were really helpful in confirming that the colours we wanted would work in our N/E facing room. I was pretty fixed on the the purbeck stone and pelt and it was they that suggested using dimity on the walls. Also as already suggested, tester pots and paint on large pieces of paper that you can move around the room is a good idea....See MoreI need ideas for the living room and entrance hall
Comments (4)Wow, what a big space! What is great here is that you have lots of room to play with. It really depends on what style you are going for. However here are some ideas! For the entrance way, a lovely console table would be a wonderful addition against the opposite wall to the door. Something reflective to help keep the place looking bright! This could be decorated with some accents like some bright flowers that really pop against the neutral wall. Maybe a little tray to put your keys and purse in as well! Can't see the space behind the door however maybe a statement coat hanger? Or it could even be placed in the left corner, near the double doors. For the living room space, I would keep the white chesterfield sofa and build around that. A white gloss coffee table would be great as it would reflect the light helping to keep the room bright and light, and easy to clean! https://omnari.com/shop/furniture/tables/coffee-tables/white-gloss-coffee-tables/ A wall mounted TV would look amazing against the marble wall, however if you prefer - maybe some art? For this I would pick out some statement art that incorporates hints of the general colour scheme. Also, a cabinet for storage! Hope this helps you and good luck with your design adventure!...See MoreEntrance Hall Decor Ideas
Comments (21)What a great space, love the Crittal doors. I’d definitely go light, white ceiling and walls with brilliant white gloss skirting to show off the flooring. On the “mirror” wall I’d put wall paper to add interest and bring in the dark blue of the neighbouring kitchen. There are so many patterns to choose from. The space has a modern feel with a nod to previous eras with parquet type floor and black glazing so I’d look at the William Morris design range of Wallpapers - old traditional style with amazing patterns and colours relevant to today. good luck...See MoreEntrance ideas help please
Comments (2)If you mean the drive area as opposed to the porch area which we cannot see then perhaps knock down the small wall and hedge on the left hand side?...See Morearc3d
