Hall and stairs and a parquet floor.

I’ve sanded down the old parquet floor and the colour is much lighter, but how to finish it without making it much darker? I’ve done a patch test with osmo polyx oil 3032 satin clear but it’s quite Dark. I actually like the untreated colour. Any ideas of how to protect the wood without changing the colour?

The walls were magnolia painted anaglipta which was impossible to keep clean with 2 dogs. I’ve stripped the wallpaper and there is a lime green paint underneath. Far too bold for us but something about the colour actually makes the hall look so much brighter. I did fancy greys but want light and bright. Any suggestions please?
