Dining room chair project

I’m up cycling my dining room chairs and struggling with what material to use for the seat pads. Needs to withstand a curious cat and two kids eating spaghetti on the regs😊

Faux leather? Easy to wipe down with all that spaghetti sauce flying about 😊

I have something closer to the Wycome set - although fabric (washable) padded seats and a bench. However I love the luxurious look of the Maddox chairs. I think probably the Wycombe is more functional on a regular use kind of table, however the Maddox would be great for dinner parties where you might spend an entire evening at the dining table!

Tbh I’d have just one of those chairs and bring it down to the rhs of the sofa, set into the room slightly, two other smaller dining chairs to replace the first choice ones, your getting the table anyway so you need chairs, I think these are to big for dining chairs and certainly for a small table, other thing is, when you sitting in them what are your going to be doing? To far away to easily socialise with anyone on the far side of the sofa, difficult angle to see the tv, just my thoughts :-)
