Hi there, what colour is the decking as you come out of your property? Is it composite or timber?

It is a natural hardwood timber - Ipe. It will silver off over time, or it can be oiled to retain more colour if preferred.

I like the fabric... Just need to bring the strip colours out. Is it gold, silver... It will balance it off and lift the colours out...? Don't add to many. Colours .. Three is enough. Photos when chosen please

Hi, I have wooden decking and it does get very skippy when wet. I too am looking at replacing it. I’ve been looking at composite decking which is supposed to be non slip and virtually maintenance free, apart from cleaning now and then. There are many types, Deck Trek being one of them. My daughter has it around her holiday lodge and it looks very smart. Here’s a couple of pictures:

I think my sister has very similar units to you - cashmere. She chose huge format porcelain tiles for practicality (she has a black lab). You can see more on @hovehomemakeover on instagram. Wood like Sonia suggested would also look lovely, your sister's looks amazing.
