Hot pink in a master bedroom
Comments (4)Hey Laura! Hot pink - pretty bold choice! Although hard to find photos of bedrooms in this colour that are not for girls or teens, the selection below should offer you an idea of what you can do. If you notice though, almost all of them have another colour for contrast or enhancement. I think you should use either grey or black/white to balance the room, or paint only the ceiling, or only an accent wall. I'm not trying to discourage you, but too much pink can tire the eye and can feel like you live in a candy land. Anyway, my favourite are the last 3 pics; all have black&grey elements with some white thrown in. Again, if you want to infuse some style to the room, you need to try and achieve a good balance of difference colours. Good luck!...See MoreWhat colour paint in bedroom.
Comments (3)My spare bedroom is yellow and teal. It is a farrow and ball yellow but I can't remember the name of it, but it is quite subtle and looks absolutely gorgeous with the teal. The walls are painted yellow but the curtains, accessories and bedding is all teal, and white woodwork. If you don't like yellow then I think grey is fantastic idea. Farrow and Ball do French grey and it is gorgeous with teal. Also, my sister has a room which is really pale green and teal and it is lovely (pale green walls and all accessories and curtains shades of teal)....See MoreWhat colour to paint bedroom cupboards
Comments (1)I think you should keep the blue walls but that green wall on the left if I’m correct I think that you should paint it white then your bedroom closets should be a light grey or a darkish grey. To be honest it’s quite difficult because of the colour of the room choices.....See MorePaint colour for bedroom?
Comments (52)Hi Patrina and Jules I hope you've both had a good lockdown? I've been slowly getting on with things in the house while working from home. Doing a lot of volunteering too until getting a bug (not that one apparently) in the last couple of weeks, so not much time for Houzz, sadly. We've built a big planter in our communal back lane, planted a wisteria by the front door, and we're halfway through painting the hall a deep emerald green. We realised looking at the bedroom photos today that there's already a big graphic statement made by the wardrobe doors. We only noticed the doors aren't identical once we'd put them up! The plan is to put two identical doors in the middle, with one each of the other pair on either side. Anyway, as the room is quite shallow, I think anything graphic on the opposite wall might clash, so what I need (if anything) is something textural and possibly unstructured. Other half is keen on Jules MC's stringy panel, but I think it might be a bit too Boho and 'young'. I'd enjoy making it though!...See MoreTennis Boy
