Hi all, do you know ow mch would cost glass and metal parts themself?

Thank you for your message.

We, Hobson's Choice, were only responsible for the kitchen area of the glasshouse extension, so I am not able to provide you with any costing information about the build. AR Designs, Winchester architects, were responsible for the project. A message to them might be helpful?

I live in Cumbria it's crazy hearing people say it's one of there favourite places I guess you don't see what's on your doorstep. Berwick upon tweed is the place for me it's blissful I think I see it through rose tinted glasses for sentimental reasons. My family are from Ireland Donegal and Longford so those places for me hold all my childhood memories but the most magical place in the world is London.. Love love love those pics Nicola B, I'll definitely bring some of those features into the seating area. Lots of suggestions for blue so I searched for a blue chair and found this that I love - went to look at it in the 'flesh' too and it's the most gorgeous navy, almost with a dusk to it so not really really dark - I guess a dark denim type of colour, they do them in light grey too so going to get a mix! Some other bits I saw on my virtual travels I thought would work....... thank you to everyone so has chipped in, you have helped me get a bit of focus here and I'm very grateful!

Thanks guys - we did a lot of experimenting and testing on some old floorboards before deciding on this stuff. The Osmo oil gives a deep and rich finish on old pitch pine that looks very different to varnish - deeper and with more of the grain being brought out. It's more like a beeswax finish from olden times, without the backbreaking labour and maintenance. Interestingly on the new boards (in the top bedroom), it makes far less difference: the new pine just looks yellow and shiny, much as it would if varnished. But the oil should be tougher and lower maintenance. We decided to restore these floors rather than replace as they were actually in remarkably good condition: this house has never had fitted carpets fitted, nor central heating fitted until 2014, and when it was installed it was installed with regard to keeping the floors intact (many systems installed in past decades saw the boards sawn up and hacked about). I wanted look that is obviously original, and can't be mistaken for engineered wood. I did think about a limewashed finish, but bottled it at the last minute and went totally traditional, as I thought less risk of a finish done to a trend that would be hard to reverse.
