Final plan - sink to fit Rangemaster Elise oven trays!

Sorry it’s me again. The final kitchen must be in TODAY and I’m thinking of changing a 500 sink to a 600 so it’ll definitely accommodate the oven trays. But I can’t find the size of the trays online! Does anyone have a rangemaster Elise 110 please?? What sizes are the trays?! Grateful for any help xxxxx

I’m a bit confused, if the kitchen is going in today surely it won’t fit the base unit and you’ll throw your whole design out? Or do you mean finalise the design?

By tray, do you mean the grill pan or the oven racks which come with the oven? I’ve taken a photo from their website re what size baking trays fit

Ah I left out the word ‘plan’ from my rushed question. That’s a huge help, didn’t see that on their website. Thank you! X

HI Milligan and Jessop, thanks, it was a bad time, but that's life, isn't it. And I am sorted now, just about, but thank you for your sympathy! Hi Michelle, here are some rather bad pics of the four sides of my kitchen. The F&B French Grey looks quite light in the pics, sorry, they are not so great, just taken them. Hopefully they are of each side of the kitchen. I found some fabric (Lewis & Wood, called Fly Fishing http://www.lewisandwood.co.uk/products/view/fly-fishing.one-cway) on ebay that matches the wallpaper and am hoping to get a blind and a window seat made up, which I am looking forward to. The pictures on the wall are not pictures, they are large trays from ibride which I use as I do not have a dining room at the moment, so dinner on knees. To the left of the window is an integrated freezer and next to that is an integrated fridge. To the left of that and to the right of the small wood burning stove is a larder unit which houses tins and dried food. All my plates and other crockery are in the unit to the left of the small door which is to the right of the eggs (have 12 rescue hens and Boris the cockerel). There's an integrated dishwasher to the left of the main sink and the microwave is tucked under where the kettle is and the ovens are next to that. The flooring is travertine, which I think is a form of limestone. I got it from here: http://www.pricespaving.co.uk/product/antique-pewter-tumbled/ and as they say in the description, it is very low maintenance and does not show the dirt easily! The lights, I am ashamed to say are pool table lights from ebay. Some mistakes I made, though: the main sink was fairly expensive (to me!) and has very square corners which need extra cleaning. Also, the taps are too close to the wall which makes cleaning behind them tricky. I have very hard water as am on a borehole in a limestone part of Yorkshire, so limescale builds up really quickly. Would I have stainless steel worktops again? Probably not, but I do love them, they are so practical. Also, the two chairs at the end of the island near the window are too tall to sit comfortably on - oops! They are there for the time being until I can find somewhere where they do fit. I was supposed to have had an integrated bin, but for some reason that did not happen, so my bin is free standing by the island. Anyway, hope this helps, but I do love the colour of your proposed kitchen and I love the layout and matching of wood and marble. If I were to repaint mine, it would definitely be your colour! Do let us all know how you get on.

Update - alabaster painted oak units, oak worktop, (curved end units and worktop corners) belfast sink, 1100 stainless steel rangemaster porcelain large high gloss ivory 600x600 floor tiles, ivory grout - please see attached look book just still to decide on shade of sage on walls - deciding between F&B Mizzle, Vert De Terre, Ball Green and Cooking Apple Green... Also metro sub/way tiles on walls - whether to go for a sage tile or cream/white... The dining room area off the kitchen will have oak parquet floor which will follow through from hall and will also be in the lounge but Im thinking of following the wall colour in the kitchen through to the dining room for continuity and potentially painting the chimney brest or wall furthest away from and facing the kitchen a darker green complementary colour... Thoughts please

Hello `Sarah, I think the kitchen is fantastic!!! Please keep it!!! So I have some suggestions.. I think it has some great elements.. The design and colour of the cupboards plus those tiles are really fabulous, also love the floor too.. I'd keep it all!!! The top cupboards are gr8 without glass and your image is very different and dare I say not nearly so interesting.. Maybe you can celebrate the uniqueness of it! Minnie is right to suggest moving the cabinets closer to the ceiling (it has been lowered in part but I would leave it as is) easily done without damage and you can move the boiler in line with them.. .. This is a gr8 idea as it will feel a little more open and spacious.. you could then paint above the tiles a lovely warm chalky white or off white.. and any other wall areas.. It will balance the units out and I would definitely keep the colour the same here top and bottom... If you don't want to change the current configuration too much and keep costs down, I would buy a free standing chrome range oven like Smeg dual fuel and extractor Aeg angled hood and fit in same place as current oven.. Dualit toaster and kettle Bugatti Vera in chrome.. Angled extractor hood Aeg and a smeg 50's white fridge would be nice here too! With the fridge I feel it could stand at the end of the counter top.. Leave the sink exactly as it is and the boiler too, all you then need to do is put a cabinet shell and door on the front of the opening where fridge was and paint it and the bits of cabinet that are white to the shade of yellow and voila! Anther storage space for the dishwasher. I would move that metal shelf or add another if you like it.. .. Add a polycarbonate pendant Creatures by Nigel Coates which would look amazing with the kitchen.. Also the kitchen is definitely not past it!!! (added that bit after reading the comment further down) : ))

I haven't yet owned a Miele appliance, although I have used other people's and know that they are top quality. So I would love my first dishwasher to be a Miele and maybe this would convince my partner that having a dishwasher is an improvement on washing dishes by hand.
