Have you tried space slide or Jali as they list prices but I wouldn't say particularly cheap. It may be cheaper to get the plasterer back and go freestanding? You could pick up say a french armoire from ebay for a great price and you know it's good quality. Do you just need doors or sides too? The other option, if doors, is maybe to buy some french louvre doors, shutters or a room divider from ebay and have the carpenter make something up. I want to do similar for window shutters. I like these from the french bedroom company for £362 (w180'h208) but they're not tall enough for my windows unfortunately

Hi Lauren, we're too far away to be of too much help, but the product range we offer most office is theCrown Living / Lifespace range. They have a huge range of door colours/styles (Over 120 at last count!) in matts, gloss, sparkes, painted woods/woodgrains, metalics etc. and a very flexible system. We recently came up against Sharps, and our quote for a similar configuration/style was around half the price of Sharps. If you pick carefully your styles and mix of units, it can be very good value. You could find your local dealer at this link. Alternatively if you struggle to track down a dealer, we could quote for supply only and have delivered direct to you if you have your own fitter lined up, though obviously we are too far away to offer our usual levels of service.

Hi Jo. Love your scheme I think it will look gorgeous! Personally I think a bit of real wood would look great against the blue and add a natural element (need to be a bit careful against the pink though!). I saw this pair of beauties in a charity shop, probably not quite right but I think it would be worth following your instincts and holding out for what you wanted rather than going for second best. Everyone is in such a hurry to have everything finished and perfect immediately but a house, style and furniture evolve over time, so if you can be patient and deal with clothes elsewhere for a bit you may get your dream cupboards! Yes I did look at these as would have gone for something like that for sure if I could only find a contemporary version that wasn’t frosted glass - if anyone has seen any please do shout! emily, a carpenter friend of ours suggested Louvre doors - it maybe an option. I think I’m so hung up on the nice grey glossy sliding wardrobe doors I wanted that anything else isn’t matching up! If only I could get a grey glossy door in that barn style the previous person posted about I’d be a happy bunny! Thanks ever so much for taking the time to give your ideas
