Kitchen Cabinets and colour theme advice
Comments (11)Hi. If you look at little Greene you could use different shades of the same colour. I might look at slaked lime and clay. You can use the mid version on cabinets with the lightest on walls. If you wanted the island a different colour you could use the deep or dark version. A colour which may work (hard to tell without testing) is farrow and balls elephant breath shown on the kitchen pictured. I know you want to lighten the kitchen but you could do the island in an aubergine shade without it looking darker than it is now (pic is just showing it with a black worktop). I've tried picturing little Greene adventurer with elephants breath on the colour charts, the colour is nicer than my camera would suggest! Is it just a wall opposite the window? Could you add a mirror? Mrsmcee pictured one of my favourite stools :) do you have a budget for handles as they can add up to an awful lot!...See MorePainting Kitchen Cabinets Advice
Comments (1)<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><md>Let me just be the first to say this app is very buggy. So, I'll have to write this all again... I grabbed a bargain on my kitchen units. However, they're a dark walnut melamine. My intention is a colour similar to the picture shown, a moody blue. I would just like to run through some steps and clear a few questions up. - Should I invest in a spray gun? If so, any recommendations? - I intend on buying replacement oak shaker style doors (ebay's finest - something similar to this https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/143096129698 ) will they need rubbing down still? - what Primer am I looking at. A shellac based Primer? - what type and brand of paint is best for longevity? It looks like the picture is a satinwood finish. Is that plausable when painting your own? Anything else I need to consider? Thank you!! Why are kitchens so expensive...See MorePainting kitchen cabinets - ADVICE PLS!
Comments (7)Hi there, great colour choice, it will bring out gorgeous working tops & the bar chairs! Tips: - spraypaint not paint - get a few sheen version samples from your spray painting company & test it that you like it - they will match the F&B colour Oh and if you are changing the colour. Please change your handles :) Brass, industrial would look awesome. Good luck & have fun! mMx...See MoreAdvice need for style of internal door
Comments (6)That door featured in the above image is an LPD Door. They are a main UK distribtor and Wayfair just buy from them. We as a company supplied one only last week for a customer. You could look at full glass or half glass. Look at LPD Door website and also J B Kind for ideas. None of them will supply you direct as they only deal with trade but both of their doors are available online through other suppliers. By looking online you will be able to get the name of the door. They also offer a critall look alike door but there was a very long waiting time for this. Just be aware that such a lot of doors are out of stock and if you buy from another company as opposed to the main ones they will not display the amount in stock so be cautious about parting with your money until you know it is a stock item....See Morepjdklm
