We are renovating a 2 storey outbuilding to be a games room / office / gym etc. I don't want to keep the heating on, so need something that will warm up fairly quickly - so underfloor heating isn't an option. Due to the slanted pitch of the roof, we have pretty much no wall space for radiators. I want to put in skirting board heating but our electrician has said he doesn't think it will give us enough heat. I am not sure why he says that, as the building will be completely insulated and I thought the skirting board systems were designed as stand alone heating. Anyone have any experience with skirting board heating. We are having Karndean downstairs and carpet upstairs.
