Help with exterior

Hi - i recently moved to a small terrace in North London and had shutters fitted to the front windows. I have already painted the interior windows white (they were also brown). Ideas/Suggestions for front windows/exterior decoration welcome!! i am so stuck!! Thank you ❤️

I would paint the windows white. It always looks right on period properties. Then paint the door a nice shade of blue, green, pink or yellow.

If you are not planning to paint the pebbledash a different coliur then i would opt for grey or black for the window frames to make a contrast

Thanks so much for responding, I love greeny/grey colours but our next door neighbour has their front door that colour so didn’t want to appear to be copying. Grey might be nice but do you think it will go with the existing creamy colour of the render or will it look a bit odd? We are due to repaint it anyway, so could change the colour of the render? Love the green. I had a similar era house but this one is was in Australia. If it's not too dissimilar, I found in my research they loved to paint up the details. And the colour schemes had up to 4 colours. I'd find that the windows would be a different colour than the window frames and so on. I don't think anyone needs to follow the original schemes but often they can look great on these houses. Anyways, that traditional dark warm cream, heading towards brown that they loved might be nice for render or timbers. Some thing like York White or Bathstone Beige by Dulux. This was in 2011, when we just started renovating. Top windows are new (ral7039), walls ral9010. You see the neighbour on the right has bright white, the attached on the left some creamy tan. (Landscaping credits go to previous owner..) Don't have many new photo's, but this was a few months ago, when we had the front door and livingroom window done too (pvc): Lower edge on the wall still needs some paint.. And landscaping hasn't been done yet either, but we did take out the dug in roof tiles.. (plus we're slow renovators LOL no stress)

You have black railings, front door and detailing above the door, so I'd be tempted to paint the window frames black too.

I would probably go black if I were you as it matches the door, I had a similar dilemma recently myself with actually very similar starter colours to your house. If your struggling to find the right paint i used Zinsser Allcoat I know the right exterior paint can be hard to find and believe me I tried a few

If you have the budget I would get the bay window rebuilt and the upstairs windows put back to their original size.

There was a great project just like yours where the original bay window had been removed. I'll see if I can find it...

Thank you - yes that would be my absolute ideal - to replace the bay window (so sad previous owners removed it), and remove the rendering and repoint the front, however, I can't afford either right now/maybe ever, so will paint the windows and front in the meantime. I think I'll paint the windows white or off white, and paint the door a sage green or subtle yellow.
