Grey or white porch, help!

Hi I am in the process of updating my porch and was thinking about keeping the door on the side and having a open glass gable end at the front, but cant decide if to go with white front window and grey door with white frame or grey front window with grey door and frame. what do you all think?

I have attached a photo of my house and a few ideas.

I would definitely move the door to the front.

I‘m glad you’ve suggested moving the door, thats something that id like to do but my husbands not too keen.

I chose grey but only based on the rest of the upvc being grey as well. Two tones would look odd and I think you would be better keeping them all white then. I had the same dilemma on our last house. Ended up painting the rear upvc porch myself in a special paint - so it matched some other black doors on the ground floor. However I decided just to keep the Windows white (60's house)

No problem at all. It's one of the biggest dilemmas we come across. In that case, perhaps going for a lighter grey that would stand out less could be an option- please see our colour guide here: http://bit.ly/origin-available-finishes I would be happy to send you some free colour samples of the shades you particularly like which may also help you. Lastly, don't forget the dual colour option. If you'd like an anthracite grey on the exterior frames but feel that another colour would best suit the inside of your home, we can manufacture dual colour frames with any combination. Thanks, Robyn

I’d say white for the walls but definitely grey for the floor. Contrast can be achieved with towels and green leafy plants.

I really like the dark blue actually. I think it gives character. I have used different tones of blue for my downstairs including a similar dark blue. Maybe the colour we used in our dining room( f & b) light blue would work instead of your wallpaper? This would still work with your kitchen blue I think. Sorry photos not brilliant as there is not enough light.

Leave the side door in for him. If you get a full glazed one with same coloured hardware it would just look like a glass panel.

Then on the front you could have the door of your choice.
