Kitchen handle & tile advice - small cashmere shaker kitchen

Attached are the mock ups of my kitchen that is arriving in July. I have some flat white metro tiles for round the main u-shape but I want a feature splash back (also have upstands although not shown here). I like the Topps tiles batik range & as I have the black sink I was thinking the black ones (about 1m2 behind the hob). My friend thinks I should be bolder with a geometric design in black &white.
Next is the handles. I like the black t-bar look but I don’t like the fact you can catch yourself on them. I know cups & knobs work with the shaker style but I’m not sure which ones & if they should be black or brushed nickel to match the tap. I love the knurled knobs with backplates from morehandles or the Kilburn knob from corston architectural but they don’t come in black or brushed nickel & are a bit more expensive.
Are cup handles ok or a bit boring? I also have the larder & fridge freezer which are large doors & the 1000mm bridging unit & 2x 150mm pullouts so they are much narrower & a knob seems a better idea....any ideas please?

Everything is just personal preference. I agree that T bar handles are a nuisance insomuch that you can catch yourself. I’m not a knob lover but I have arthritis in my fingers and knobs are more difficult to grab as opposed to a handle.

By co-incidence I was looking for black handles only this morning for a customer and while there are some it is limited. Look online at Hafele. You can’t buy direct from them but Toolstation stock some of their products or give Hafele a call and ask for a local trader.

Regarding splashbacks look online at Premier Range for colourfull glass splashbacks. Haven’t deal with them but have always thought their choice is good.

Thanks Daisy. I’ll take a look at toolstation for the Hafele handles. Maybe a black D-bar handle or back to the cup handle & knobs.
Thanks fo the splashback idea too. It’s about 1m2 so the tiles may be cheaper I’m thinking. I’ll see what premier range have to offer 😊

If you look at the following images, the first one - the floor picks up the same colour from the units, is still light in tone but has some interest due to the wood grain. This seems to work. The second and third one look too tonally similar to me, the last image works as the units are darker than the floor. My preference is the first image as the gloss cashmere is very uniform, the floor really adds some interest.

Kitchen Update: I finally got round to sorting my kitchen out and have had a storage banquette and pantry cupboard built. It looks great and I'm very happy with it. However what colour cushions should I get and also should I stain the reclaimed wood table top? It's a small kitchen so i've kept the colour neutral (grey, white, greyish duck egg blue) but I'm concerned that it might start to all look a bit mitchy-matchy and a bit 'twee' if I add cushions the same sort of colour. Would a navy blue stripe work, for instance? Thank you!

I’m also not keen on copper - the trend has already aged. I’d go for something timeless like an aged brass - i”d also take inspiration from quality kitchen companies like Devol just to see what looks good! There’s loads of good places online to buy ironmongery - one has been mentioned above, but also check out Willow and Stone and also Jim Lawrence (both easy to google!).

Thank you Mrs P. I'm thinking brushed nickel or black. I don't have any other brass colours.
I'm now leaning towards the black based on other comments in the forum & I was going to use these tiles
