Comments (23)I thought they were David Scott, recognised the floor stands the tiles are on! I got a sample from David Scott. On the quote they called it Perla or Pietra Nat 60X60. Photos attached below of the sample I had matched with railings, purbeck stone and a sample of Carrara marble. It's similar to the tile I picked but slightly lacks that 'warmth' you are talking about. At £35m2 though it might be worth considering, that's a third of the price of the ones I went for and they aren't that much different....See MoreExtractor fan -Confused!
Comments (5)Normally when you want to hide an extractor you purchase a built in one - it fits behind a unit specially built with a door attached. Like this one:- I would suggest you contact whomever you purchased the kitchen from and order the right unit with an built in extractor and return the other one, which is not supposed to fit in a cupboard....See MorePendant light spacing over 240cm x 100cm dining table
Comments (8)Hi we would consider the table size as this is the object you are lighting and framing and not the clock when setting out, we would recommend diving the pendant positions based on the centre of the light and the edge of the table: half equal, equal, half equal. I agree with the other comment that 3 would look better but if you would prefer 2, stick to these dimensions, so the first pendant would be positioned 60cm from the edge then 120cm to the next pendant then 60cm to the table edge. Comments (20)Hi Pam, we went for the Berbel Downline Performance Permalyt on the extremely strong recommendation of our kitchen company owner who is a friend of a friend and been in the kitchen business for decades. They offer a highly bespoke and friendly kitchen design and advisory service. They were fantastic to deal with and use the same Berbel in their own homes and demo'd it for us in their workshop. We were concerned about whether to externally vent or not and they talked us out of doing so as simply not necessary. That's a big call for an expensive extension and kitchen but we went with their advice. The Permalyt vent mechanism does take up room directly under the hob, so make sure your design accommodates for it, if you go for it. Their kitchen fitter told us that you can cook a fish on the hob and then smell the recirculated air coming out of the bottom vent and you cannot smell anything. If that really is the case then it is truly remarkable. We will find out in a few months time. They told us about how it filters out oil and cleans using the Permalyt technology; how easy it is to clean and maintain etc. Can't help you with Bora other than to say they never got a look-in as a result of the steer we were given. The Berbel Permalyt does need to be fitted by an expert though, apparently. Also, order early is what we were told and don't forget that European factories shut down in August!
