Any recommendations for height adjustable desks?

I’ve been contemplating buying these height adjustable desks online. Does anyone have any recommendations on which brands produce high-quality desks that are height-adjustable that would also last a long time? I badly need one because of my intense back pains. Thanks in advance to those who reply!

I put my old ikea desk top on top of it. It works well - has memory settings, goes up and down very smoothly. You just have to make sure that none of your computer wires etc are caught anywhere when you move it up and down, as otherwise it will topple off!

Hello Mawlw, Yes storage in a small room can be tricky... If you have files and things... The last thing you want to do is have large pieces of furniture storing things... I would suggest putting a shelf all the way round the top of the wall but far enough from the ceiling height to allow for storing files etc... Paint the shelf white all the way around and even buy white files... Or boxes... that way you can store out of your eye view and still find what you need.. This free's up the space so you can make it appear bigger than it is... If the walls are not partition then you can add more weight just remember the raw plugs!!... Get really good brackets, Ikea do some lovely wooden ones No need to paint those.. I'd say 3 per shelf length of a m2 length & continue all round the walls to the window but not over unless there is the height above.... The other thing is that if you want a stylish office room. Get a good chair and you can get a table and shelf combo that leans up against the wall... See images... One of them is from Houzz! I love them both though... You get more floor space which in turn lends to a tranquil working environment... . : ))

Was at the dentist the other day and they simply gave us a clip board to form fill while we sat in the waiting room ! No desk ! And several of us were filling ( no pun intended !) in at same time - so had there been a desk it would have needed to be a big one !!!

Agree with the above. The kitchen seemed like a lovely option to start with and the designer was very helpful when we visited their factory. Nicely designed unit, even if they are in inches. It all started to go wrong when our fitter took delivery. There are no legs for height adjustment which apparently makes levelling cabinets pretty much impossible in an old imperfect house. Elements of the kitchen were incorrect on delivery and as much as they tried to rectify issues, we did not end up with the best final result. End panels had been left unpainted, the inside of a display cupboard was painted when it should not have been, the sink unit had doors instead of drawers, amongst other issues. This delayed our install and created a lot of stress with our fitter. (They have their own fitter, so I would suggest waiting for them to be available if you are not DIY'ing). We've now had our Pineland kitchen for nearly five years and many of the drawers and cupboard fronts are dented and chipped, which I am certain is due to the quality of pine they use. The larder cupboard doors keep on dropping on their hinges due to the (Pineland supplied) spice racks in the doors. The weight is simply too much which defeats the whole point of them. We also find that the very expensive soft closing drawers very frequently stick, which also defeats the point. I must've adjusted repeat offending drawers 20 or more times to get them to soft close. As the kitchen is wood we can repair and perhaps overcome some of these issues but I now know the quality is better elsewhere, having seeing friends shaker kitchens bought from other suppliers at a similar cost. They should use tougher hardwood for the front of the units, and where load bearing hinges are to be installed. The staff were lovely but the quality is extremely average.

Thanks Carolina i did look but they were not high enough... the current chair is my dining chair.. I didn’t necessarily want it same as that but something that was also adjustable!! I probably will have to go for modern office chair
